MDerma FDS Micro-Needling Collagen Induction Therapy
Micro-needling is the Treatment. Skinpen, Dermapen, Mderma are device Brands
The MDerma is the Tesla of all needling devices. Its an automated-micro needling therapy system that vertically pierces the skin to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal damage, while enhancing skin rejuvenation results.
The effects of Micro-needling:
- Skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation
- Improves acne scars and wound healing
- Improves wrinkles and fine lines
- Minimizes pore size
- Improves stretch marks
How it Works:
The fractional dermal-needling provides unparalleled response via a fractional delivery of needles creating micro-injuries into the epidermis and dermis. These micro-injuries to the skin encourage and harness the power of the body’s innate ability to repair the skin through the normal physiology of skin. The automatic vibrating function of the Mderma increases the effectiveness of treatment by increasing absorption of products, while reducing pain and discomfort.Fractional micro-needling is taking the medical world by storm! This is the most effective way to treat acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles.

Micro-needling Procedure with Products
The Mderma, micro-needling device causes controlled micro-injuries that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process. The micro-injuries trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to remodeling of collagen and elastin. Micro-needling creates hundreds of tiny micro-channels in the skin with minimal damage to the epidermis. While the micro-channels are open in the 24 hours following your micro-needling procedure, it’s particularly important not to use topical skin care products that contain ingredients that will irritate your skin or hinder the skin rejuvenation process. You don’t want potentially irritating ingredients to reach the dermis and prolong inflammation of your skin following the procedure.
Before and after micro-needling:
Application of topical products prior to, during and after micro-needling can introduce immunogenic particles into the dermis and cause hypersensitivity reactions. In one case study of three women, topical products used during micro-needling produced a foreign body response (facial granulomas). While not fatal, this condition is not pleasant and requires immediate treatment and additional downtime. All topical products used during and/or after micro-needling should:
1.) Be formulated for use on broken skin (if used during micro-needling)
2.) Contain ingredients that won’t instigate inflammatory or foreign body responses
